New Hire: Leo Lafaialii, Manager of Customer Success

leoJSI Store Fixtures is pleased to announce the hiring of Leo Lafaialii as Manager of the Customer Success Team! We sat down with Leo to talk a little bit about his past experiences and goals for the future:

Tell us a bit about your early years?

I’m a former professional and international rugby player, transitioned into professional rugby coach. I’ve lived and worked in a variety of countries including New Zealand, Japan, Italy and France. I’ve worked in a variety of management roles in Education, Health and Telecommunications sectors and now I’m looking forward to adding value for JSI in the Manufacturing industry.

How did you get started in your line of work?

I began working as a manager at T-Mobile in customer care. Their innovative customer service “Team of Experts” model has been effective in disrupting “customer care” across all industries.

What brought you to JSI?

I found the story of JSI – from humble beginnings to incredible growth – to be very inspiring. I jumped at the opportunity to be part of this amazing team and I’m looking forward to pushing the company to new heights.

What experience do you bring to your team?

Team building, culture building and inspiring high performance.

What is the most interesting challenge you’ve worked on recently?

As an efficiency-oriented person, I’m always looking for areas of improvement and work to challenge teams to excellence. Over the past three years, I’ve helped the T-Mobile Customer Experience Center in Oakland, ME reach #1 in the enterprise. I was also part of T-Mobiles’ Customer Care Team’s seven year run of dominance for JD Power awards.

What are your goals for the future?

My goal is to establish a world class customer success team for JSI. By putting our customers first through service and satisfaction, we will focus on constant improvement and will work to excel using innovative best practices.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching rugby and enjoying a beer around the BBQ.
