When it comes to regulations, there is a lot to keep track of.

Between monitoring constantly evolving refrigerant regulations and staying on top of the latest in energy-efficiency standards, there’s a lot to keep track of. At JSI, we keep close tabs on changes in the industry and updates from environmental groups to help ensure you stay compliant, efficient, and an active champion for the environment.

It matters for your business, and it matters for our planet.

JSI is committed to helping reduce GHG emissions.

Our refrigerated solutions meet our strict 1,400 GWP standards, far below most industry requirements.

REGULATIONS TO HELP
PAVE THE PATH TO SUSTAINABILITY

As the industry continues to take important steps toward more efficient solutions that emit fewer greenhouse gases, JSI analysts provide a continuous stream of information that helps us build refrigerated displays that meet—and even beat—the strictest standards.

Our refrigerated display cases feature a self-contained compressor with raised air flow vents to allow for mobility and maximum efficiency while maintaining critical temperature.

JSI meets all requirements for UL 471 (electrical safety for commercial refrigerators and freezers), NSF/ANSI 7 (sanitation for Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers), and CSA (Canadian Electrical safety for Refrigeration Equipment), and DoE 2017.

We also follow all testing requirements for ANSI/AHSRAE 72 (testing setup for Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers).

And we monitor these important groups and programs to help us prepare for the future (which helps us prepare YOU for the future).

THE JSI PLEDGE: INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND TRUST

INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND TRUST

Before any JSI refrigerated display or case is shipped, it must pass our rigorous 50-point inspection checklist conducted in one of our internal labs. Our strict criteria include emissions measurements, efficiency metrics, and safety standards—all designed to lower failure rate in field, reduce your energy bills, and create a more sustainable planet.

No spot checks—every unit under goes a 50 point inspection

Every approved case carries its detailed traveler sheet, which includes testing status of each component

Each case is signed off by a EPA-certified technician
